Can you password an Evernote app on the android phone so it doesn't automatically open? I want to keep my "mom important info" in a note with kids id info for when I need it (Drs visits, legal stuff) but don't want it to show up automatically when opening this ap

Welcome to the forums.

Best you can do is to encrypt the text. The contents will not be readable until you enter the pass phrase.

I don't have an Android phone so I can't test how it works in the current client.

You can indeed encrypt the content of a note to protect it with a password. You will need the desktop client (mac or PC) to encrypt, decrypting only is supported on Android for the moment.

There is also a premium feature called Pin Lock which protect the app with a Pin.

To encrypt on my Android tablet is my #1 wish.

#2 is a way of selecting multiple notes and moving them to a different notebook.

these are the two things i have to go to my pc to do.
