RoasterBoy 0 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I have clipped a number of URLs and would now like to be able to retrieve the content of those pages and have the content inserted in the note. The only way that I can figure out is to open the link and save clip the web page as a new note.I'd appreciate a suggestion for a workaround.Thanks.
BurgersNFries 2,407 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 If you only clipped the URL, AFAIK, you will indeed have to call up each page & clip or screen cap. Using something like the FF or Chrome clipper the first time around allows you to not only clip the URL but the contents as well.
peterfmartin 221 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 What BNF said. If you only clipped the URL, Evernote only saved the URL, so it would have no way of showing you additional data it didn't save (the page contents). Sorry.
RoasterBoy 0 Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 It looks as though this can be done through the API. I was hoping that I didn't have to write a script to do this. if I find or make something, I'll report back here.
