Owyn 457
What version of Windows and Evernote for Windows are you using? Is Evernote reporting a "Sync Failure"?What do the last 10 lines of Help -> Activity Log show immediately after a Sync? Link to comment

Owyn 457
Internet Explorer is in offline mode.Start IE and bring it to online mode (ie. can now browse). That should fix the problem. Link to comment
shekala 55
Thanks, but can you give me some insight as to why this is necessary? I don't even use IE and have been using Evernote successfully without it. Link to comment
Owyn 457
Evernote for Windows, like many other Windows applications, uses IE components for Internet functions. If IE has been set to "Work Offline" then EN can not connect to Internet.e.g. IE8 -> Tools -> Uncheck "Work Offline" Link to comment

gik25 1
When I go to Internet Explorer Connection Tab to set the proxy it crashes. However I'd like to understand if Evernote sync uses internet explorer options. Is it possible to set evernote to write a verbose log? Link to comment
