Audio note editing

So I have a bad habit of starting an audio note in a meeting and forgetting to save it until and hour after the meeting ended. I'd like to remove that hour of non-meeting noise. Anyway to do that?

You'll have to open the file in an audio editor and do your chopping there.

Thanks, noob question though, but can I access the file to chop outside of Evernote and will it retain the relationship so when I go back into Evernote, I don't have to do anything heroic to get it back in the note?

Sorry - my answer was a little light on detail.

Right click on the icon and select Open With (your editor of choice), when you save it in your editor the version in Evernote is the one that is updated.

Also, if you have a huge audio note, you'll probably reach some sort of size limit when you try to sync the note. So you might want to try the audio editing before syncing

Hi.  I am confused by this statement.  I open the audio file into quicktime.  Trim the audio but when I go to save I don't have the option to bring it back into evernote.  The original audio file is still just as long in evernote.  I can't figure out how to get it back into evernote at all.

 

Please help.
