(Archived) Feature Request: import file's name = note title

Whenever I import a file, the note title is the default.

Can you make it so that the note name becomes the name of the imported file?

It beats continuously renaming the note.

If I'm understanding you correctly, that sounds like a lot of work for the EN apps, since it would need to be able to handle people regularly changing the note title. IME, it's not that difficult to import a file & then change the note title. I don't really care what the file name in the EN note is. But if it's important to you, I would suggest you change the name of the file before importing it.

I'm with BurgersNFries - perhaps make it an option that can be selected, when importing.

My problem is that I'm importing thousands of individual emails from archives, and would like the .eml filename to be the title instead of the generic email header code.
