If it exists on one platform then it is extremely likely that it will eventually appear on all. However, they don't publicise a release schedule nor what will be included in each release.However, it's no great leap to see that this is an often requested feature and as it has made it's way into the Windows client, it will probably arrive on the Mac at some point.
