(Archived) how can i delete a tag without using the keyboard?

second question:

why is it, that adding a tag (via drag and drop) does not change the note's date,

but removing (via selecting with mouse and pressing backspace) does change the date?

i don't want to update the note's date when adding or removing tags.

From the tag list, right click and delete. From a note, right click and cut (which is ugly and probably not the way it is meant to work)

there is no right-click menu to delete a tag from a note. thats why i wrote the first question.

and you're right.

its very ugly to do something with a tag inside the tag list.

i.e. you can right-click on a tag to rename it. after you are in the renaming dialogue, EN jumps to all the notes containing this tag, which is not what the user needs, when only renaming a tag....dumb behaviour...

but thats not the point here :-)

You can cut a tag from a note using just your mouse which has the same effect as deleting it. Or am I misunderstanding you?
