karpinsn 0 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hi,I finally purchased evernote premium so that OCR would be run on all my PDFs (Business cards, bills, etc). OCR runs and works great on all my new PDFs but has not been performed on my old PDFs. Is there a way to select a bunch of notes and force evernote to rerun OCR?Have fun,- Nik
engberg 89 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 When you upgrade to Premium, we'll queue up your unprocessed PDFs and OCR them. This can take a few days, but it should get done eventually.
karpinsn 0 Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 I have had the premium for about 2 weeks and it still hasn't kicked in. If I right click on my new PDFs it gives me the option to save a searchable PDF but no such luck with the older ones.Have fun,- Nik
Silverstone Geezer 0 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Hi everyoneI used Evernote for about 18 months before upgrading to Premium, expecting all my existing stuff to be OCRed soon. 3 months later I searched for "expenses" in all notes, but the only instance it found was within a photograph I took of some handwritten notes in my scrawly handwriting. Very impressed indeed that it found that, and testament to the OCR capabilities, but there are at least two other instances of that word in other, typed notes.Any idea why this isn't working ?Thanks.
jkim 1 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Is there a solution to this? I have been a premium user for years and there are plenty of PDFs in my notes that do not seem to have OCR run on them (and they are less than 25MB, less than 100 pages, etc). Please help?
