[Urgent][account access dilemma] Unable to log in account in a new device due to failure of accessing log in email address to receive the verification email

Recommended Posts

Dears, I have posted a request about my account access dilemma 2 months ago but no reply received. I have no other channels for my voice but this forum I found accidently. Please no worry to give me any advice you may find useful. Thank you so much!

Request ID: #3843385

My problem is described as below:

I can't access the account log in email address to receive any verification email, while the Evernote application or official website always ask me for verification by email when I have to log in the Evernote account in a new device. And I can't change a new email address because I can't log in my account to go to the 'Security Summary’ page for the same reason! How ridiculous!
I have been using Evernote in for many years but suddenly got logged out in January as the app forced me to update to a newer version. However, I can not have access to the app in appstore within China. Even if I asked my friend for help to try to log in my account in a country outside China, the app or the official website will ask for a verification from the account log in email address because the login happens in a new device. However, the log in email address was unable to access for many years.
So now I'm stuck in the evil loop! Please tell me how can I log in my account in such circumstance?
I can provide to the Evernote group as many details of the account and the data change as I can, including but not limited to:

  • Registration Time
  • Latest Login Device
  • Latest Login Time/Edit Time
  • Latest Account Operation: e.g. name of edited notebook/note

Please let me know if there is any information you need to help me out from this trap. I've been working on it for months. Even if I'm not allowed to use the app any more, at least I have to get my data back! It really means much to me!

Hi.  I'm sorry but this forum is mainly supported by other users who do not have any access to password or account information.

I suggest you contact Evernote Support on https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true to explain your situation again.  If you are based in China your actual account may be with a separate company Yinxiang Biji which is wholly based there.

Whichever system your account is based on,  your notes will not have been lost - an original copy is maintained on Evernote's (or Yinxiang's) server.  Finding the correct user details may take a little while however...
