Legacy version will stop working / windows 7

Hi there,
I'm running a Windows 7 (upgrading is not an option atm).
I have a legacy version of Evernote - 6.25.1.9091 - running on my Desktop.
Whenever I have tried to upgrade my Evernote app, the installation process finalizes and when I enter my email to log into the Desktop app I get the message "Client not supported, please upgrade."  - I assume it's because I'm running Win7, and newer versions of Evernote aren't compatible with it.

What are my options here?
I would love to continue using the Desktop app (Instead of the Web browser version) and I can't update my Windows for just 1 app.

Your only option will be to use the web client in a browser window.
