I can no longer bring Evernote up on my Windows Desktop

Every time I try to bring up Evernote on my desktop, it comes up with a screen with the options "Quit" and "Restart." I cannot get past them. I have the most recent version. Help.

Hi.  Updates can sometimes corrupt an existing install - try uninstalling Evernote with Revo Uninstaller (Windows) or Appcleaner (Mac),  power your device off and back on again,  and download & install the latest version from Evernote.com.

I have had it uninstalled by the computer guy in my office, and it still just gives me "Quit" or "Restart." He finally gave up. Are we just done with the desktop version?

Did the computer guy use Revo?  Desktop works fine for me,  but if your office is firewalled against heavy internet traffic there may be other reasons why your setup no longer works...
