How do I create a new note from a batch file using the updated software?

I just got the nag screen to upgrade to the newest version (I was on the legacy).

I have a shortcut in Windows that runs the following against legacy and it was working fine:

The target is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernote\Evernote Legacy\Evernote.exe" /newnote

Start In:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernote\Evernote Legacy\"

... this did work fine.

I've created a second shortcut:

The target is:
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote\Evernote.exe /NewNote

Start in:
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote\

This causes Evernote to open, but does not open a window with a new blank note.

Am I doing something wrong?  Any suggestions?

Thank you

Hi.  When Evernote is running on a Windows desktop device Alt+Ctrl+N will generate a new note.  There's also an icon in the system tray which will generate a 'quick (new) note'.  Batch commands and scripts aren't supported or (mostly) necessary in v10.
