cannot log in... "client not supported"!

I can access evernote on my iphone and Ipad, however my laptop has locked me out, saying

"Client not supported, please upgrade"  

It then does not provide a way forward... what should i do?  i do not wish to upgrade

Take the laptop offline (no internet connection).

Open the client. Somewhere in the menus should be a position „About …“ .

There you find the version number of the client.

On some clients it will show in an info window during startup of the app.

Yes, this is way outdated and will not sync any longer. Somehow the autoupdate didn’t work for you - the new version should be 10.77 or 10.78 already.

Go to Evernote.com and download the latest installer. Install, just on top of the existing app. 

Open, log in, should work now.
