I lost all of my Evernote files when an email address expired!

I have had the free version of Evernote for years now, and it was linked through my college email account. Well, just recently that email account expired since I have graduated years ago. I was not aware enough to remember that my Evernote was linked to this email account, and now I have been logged out of my Evernote and obviously cannot log back in. Is there a way to retrieve everything from that account, even with the email address gone? I am devastated by all the notes I have lost. Please help!

Hi.  What happens if you try to log in with that email address?  Did you activate 2FA? - Your notes aren't lost and they'll still be in your account once you get access back.  If you can't do so directly,  contact Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true  - use the issue type "Account".  (We're mostly other users here)
