Cant Edit Shared Notebooks

My friend and i make notes on evernote and share it with each other with edit permission. While he can edit the notes i have shared, i can only view (and not edit) his shared notes. On the top left column i see "view only" even though he has given edit access. Pls help ASAP

Hi.  The only thing I can suggest is that you sit side-by-side with your friend and compare the way in which you share notes.  If it is identical,  maybe the app on your device is faulty - try a complete uninstall / power off and on again / reinstall...
