iOS Login - nothing happens

Hi there,

 

I had some issues with iOS and sharing websites, images to Evernote. In the forum I read it might be an issue with a deprecated token or so, so I tried to logoff the Evernote app and login again. But I can't.

I am here at the start screen

 

and it doesn't matter what I type in email adress, clicking continue (weiter) just does nothing. Login with Apple gives an error message (error occured,, please try again or contact support). It seems like continue is a button without any function call (I know its not, but it feels like). When I click on continue it turns dark green fort a millisecond and then light green again. Just nothing happens. No password dialog, no email format error, nothing.

 

I can login on Mac, Windows and Web, but not with iOS. I deleted Evernote on the iPhone, installed again, tried with WLAN and mobile data, same result.

Delete the app, dump all data when asked.

Now make a forced (!) restart of the iPhone.

Reinstall the app, open and log in.

Any ad blocker / security software / firewall installed on the iOS device ? 

Contacting support is then the only option left.

Sovled! No firewall ad blocker etc, it was a VPN connection. I am using ProtonVPN and the VPM connection symbol, so I wasn't aware that a VPN connection was active. I was able to signin to Evernote after I closed the VPN connection.
