Over note size limit

HI. When I upload a file it says that the note has reach max limit och 200MB, but the file is only 500KB,  this makes Evernote saves a copy on my hard drive every time, anyone know why it does this, do not have the same issue when I'm on Evernote on my laptop, does it have to do with memory on my PC vs my laptop?

This causes some issues with syncing sometimes. See attached. Thank you!

Hi.  The note size limit is a total size - so if you're editing an existing note you need to consider how much data is already there.  Plus any activity in the note means extra space needs to be available for any temporary storage required.  Have you tried uploading to a new note and then merging the two?
