Step One: Export from your service

  1. Sign into your service. Look for the Export option.
  2. Download your notes as one or more .zip files. Each zip file is a container that stores your notes.

This article does not say what can be put inside the zip file I order to import into Evernote?

Agreed it's not a helpful description,  but it's difficult to know what export options exist for every one of the around 100 options.  You already know that Evernote can accept attached document files,  use an import folder or clip HTML content.  You need to export existing notes into something which is either already in,  or can be converted into one of those formats...

Do not understand「 every one of the around 100 options. 」 and「something which is either already in」these two sentence.

There are about 100 other applications offering note-taking services

Export from your existing application into a file type which can be imported easily by Evernote,  or one which allows you to copy and paste / clip / or otherwise attach the content to a note.

If you actually tell us what you are trying to import and where from,  we may be able to help...

Is it correct to interpret this sentence as「There are numerous note-taking applications and programs such as Bear, Simplenote, Justnotes, and more."」

Is it correct to interpret this sentence as 「export from other note-taking applications and programs into file types like pdf, jpeg, txt, which can be easily imported into Evernote.
