(Archived) Web Clipper for IE doesn't work...

I use the Windows Version 4.1 on my Vaio and the Web Clipper, but it doesn't work for IE. Everytime I try to add content to Evernote via right click and 'Add to Evernote 4' it says (I hope my translation into English isn't too bad) there's a script error ('the automation server can't create object') and: res://C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernote\Evernote\EvernoteIE.dll/204. The program - of course - doesn't start then. So, can anyone help me?

same here. using IE8 on a 64-bit Vista system.

I was able to recreate this in IE8 64 and am filing a bug. It does work if I load IE8 32 though.

I suggest running the 32bit mode, or running Chrome/Firefox instead.

Same problem here.

I use Vista (32bit) Bussiness and IE8.

Suggesting to use a different browser is not an option for me.

I'll be waiting to see hwo/when it will be fixed.

You got *that* error message on IE8 32bit? Because that would mean that there's something very, very wrong with your machine.

I got the same message. I'm also running windows 7 64-bit. Using ie8 (32-bit) or ie8 (64-bit) and get the same results.

I am also having this problem. I filed a support ticket and got this response:

We believe that reinstalling the latest Mac version may address the issue that you reported

Drag the Evernote application to the system Trash

Reboot your Mac

Download and install the latest version of the Mac client

I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry, but I pushed back and then got this:

Sorry, for the previous response. Currently we do not support clipper on 64bit IE

So, we have to wait longer for a 64-bit IE clipper.

It is now Dec 16, 2012 and apparently the 64 bit IE Clipper is still not available.
