Checkboxes That Don't Get a Strikethrough Through Them

I might be asking a lot here, but I'd like checkboxes that don't get a strikethrough through them after I have checked them off. Further, checkboxes that don't turn the rest o the boxes in the list from grey to green.

The small workaround of add bullets in front of the checkboxes works, until the next time you go back into the note. The bullets disappear and  the old style checkboxes alone are there.

Please EN, not asking a lot here.

Why don't you simply go into the app settings, and disable the strikethrough feature ?
