Content in my note disappeared

I created a note in the Android app a couple hours ago, but when I opened the note again later on the app and on web the note was blank with nothing but the title remaining.

I have a basic account - is there any way to recover a previous version or get the data back?

Hi, and welcome to the forums. There have been a few similar reports lately. If your note synced properly, its content should be available in a previous version of the note in Note History. This history is kept for all accounts, but is only accessible in paid accounts. You could subscribe for just one month to recover the note contents, then cancel the subscription and return to free. Note History also can't be accessed in the Android app for any account (😣), but can be accessed in the Web client.
