what is the difference between "match note width" and "match window width" in editing table?

what is the difference between "match note width" and "match window width" in editing table?

and is there any option to automatically resize my table according to note/window? it seems like the "match note width" feature is just for one time use, i hate it when i have to scroll to have a full view of my table

In practice,  not much - but notes can be wider than the window.
