Die Dateigröße eines Bildes ist immens groß - das war sie früher nicht ...

Ich fotografiere alle meine Einkaufsbelege und archiviere die. Jetzt habe ich Anfang Oktober einen Beleg fotografiert und die Dateigröße ist immens groß. Fast 5 MB. Die vorherigen Belege waren nur wenige KB groß. 

Wie und wo kann man das ändern? 

Auch ist mir aufgefallen das das Handling des Öffnens der App enorm lange dauert. Jedes Mal wenn ich die App nutzen möchten erscheint ein Hinweisfenster in dem steht "die App wird neu eingerichtet" ...

Hängt das zusammen? 
Ich nutze Evernote sowohl auf dem Handy (Android-Samsung) als auch auf dem iPad.

The in app camera function will create a picture based on your devices abilities. There are no settings to influence picture quality.

Since devices are getting better in the hardware and post processing, pictures tend to get larger. 5MB is not really much.

If you want compressed pictures, take them outside of EN, shrink them to the size you want and attach them to a note.

A good app for scanning is Lens from Microsoft. It’s available for Free, and it allows 3 quality settings in its options.

Only the best quality is indicated for OCR. Picture size will be roughly 30% (depending on your device) of the internal quality of EN.
