I can't add a date to a task in local Evernote calendar, only option is to link to Google calendar

Recommended Posts

I've just tried to add a date to a task, but I can't use the Evernote calendar.

The only option seems to be to link to Google calendar?

I don't want to clutter my Google calendar.

Has the functionality to use the local calendar in Evenote been removed?

Thanks for your suggestion, but it doesn’t help. I want to keep my Evernote information only in Evernote.

I know I can add it to my Google calendar, but I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to see my Evernote tasks in my Google calendar.

That’s worked perfectly up to now, but the option seems to be gone.

AFAIK so far,  Calendar has only been able to show events from your Google Calendar.  It hasn't (that I recall) ever been possible to set up an event there.  Could you be confusing this with setting up Tasks or reminders? (Which can both have due dates...)

I tend to create an event in Evernote and then add the note link to a Google entry so all my details are in Evernote,  with just a title and link in Google.  Other calendars are following but the timing is unknown.

thanks gazumped, I think it was a glitch.

I tried again just now, and it's working as normal..

A few hours ago, I tried adding a date to a task, and it showed a screen to "try to connect to Google calendar". That was the only option.

It was definitely a task, and I tried a few times over about 30 minutes.

It's working now.

I appreciate the help!! thanks very much.
