How to get notes history without having to pay ?

I am not sure what happened, but one of my Notes suddenly is BLANK.   The contents were all not there.   

I clicked Note History , but it asked me to upgrade plan.    

If I upgrade now,  will I be able to get my note history ?   I'm so astounded right now

Hi.  Have you checked your note by signing on to Evernote.com via a browser?  If that version of your note is blank,  then you "should" be able to see the previous content - a backup is taken several times per day,  and it's possible for some content to be deleted before a backup is taken;  but if the contents are important to you then it should be worth it.
