Then I saved these images on the desktop and tried to insert them. Still not working. I tried both .png and .jpg. Very frustrating. Basic functionality seems to have broken down and the price has gone up. Link to comment

Sometimes rebuilding your local data can fix issues like this. Or uninstalling then reinstalling using a program that clears out damaged files. Link to comment
