Viewing PDF in note as a title

I know I can change each pdf individually to only see it as a title in a note, but can I make this the default view?

You can select the default view in settings but it isn't retroactive. It will only affect PDFs added from the date the change is made.

Also, it doesn't affect all ways of adding a PDF. Some PDF import will always default to single page view. (For example using import folders)
