All notes lost after PW change!

I got an email from Evernote stating my account had been accessed suspiciously. It was a Russian log in. I changed my password with their link and logged out all devices. Signed in and all my notes were there. Attempted to log in today but got another password change request in order to log in. After changing, all my notes, years worth, were gone. Help!

Check your user name. You most likely have not logged into your account, you created a new one, by a typo in your user name.

General remark: If you had people trying to get at your account, did you enable 2FA right away ? User and password alone are OK, if the password is strong and unique. But 2FA is better, adding another layer of security.
