Very High CPU and Battery Usage

I recently upgraded my EverNote to the newest version. I have noticed very high CPU usage as well as major battery drainage. I am running EverNote on an M1 MacBook Air, which normally has all-day battery life, I was taking notes yesterday, and my battery was dead after only about an hour. I am attaching some screenshots for your records.

Search the forum, and you find out that you have likely a corrupted local database. In these threads is a description of how to replace it with a fresh download from the server (AppCleaner-uninstall-restart-reinstall).
