janndk 693 Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 Anybody know what's the idea behind the "sync now" button (android app)? It clearly doesn't do full syncing - so what is actually getting synced and what's not?
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,997 Posted December 11, 2022 Level 5 Posted December 11, 2022 When I compare it with iOS, and assuming we are talking about the same function (app settings - synchronization - sync now), it does 2 things: Force the immediate sync of all changed, not yet synced notes - the ones with a green triangle - with the server. Call any not yet synced content from the server and update the local database with it. 1

Yes. 17 hours ago, PinkElephant said: ...it does 2 things: Force the immediate sync of all changed, not yet synced notes - the ones with a green triangle - with the server. Call any not yet synced content from the server and update the local database with it. Even when it says "sync done" some: - task - markings in checklists - annotation in images are not synced. But they sync later in normal slow tempo 🤔
