What is my database size?

The windows desktop app is not recommended any longer correct with an emphasis on the Web Version. 

I found a discussion for windows desktop app to go to Tools > Options > General > Open Database Folder which shows me the synced file size but I do not think all my files are syncing to this desktop app.

There are several issues here. First, why is the Windows desktop app no longer recommended? Who is no longer recommending it?

The Tools > Options > General > Open Database Folder instruction applies to the older "Legacy" desktop program (v. 6), not to the current v. 10.

In v. 10, the database is stored in multiple folders and files under C:\{your_user_name}\AppData\Roaming\Evernote. You can get a rough idea by getting the size of all subfolders there.
