Evernote taking over shortcuts (especially paste functionality) on Mac

Apologies if I've missed this elsewhere but I'm struggling find anything.

I am UTTERLY FED UP with Evernote taking over standard shortcuts - especially paste functions (e.g. special paste in MS Excel for Mac).

How can I remove Evernote from my shortcuts completely or at least manage this efficiently?

Have you explored the option to change some shortcuts? In the desktop app, tap the keyboard symbol in the bottom left and then in the shortcut list those that can be changed have a three for menu when you hover over the item.
