Sketching Lag

I use a wacom tablet and it has no issues other than when using evernote sketch. Drawing has a considerable input lag and is frustrating to use. The issue persists even with mouse. What can I do to fix this?

No idea for Windows. On iOS using the Apple Pencil, Sketch is instantaneous - drawing with it is like having ink flow from the tip of a pen. No lagging, no hiccups, changing tools is lightning fast as well. The only downside is that it does not smoothen handwriting. But this is a more general remark, true handwriting apps do this to improve readability. Sketch is not build to support handwriting.
