0 Skippyjc 0 Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Same problem with me. My iOS app version of EN and Desktop Application of EN have stopped synching notes from this morning. Any suggestions on how to Fix? I have refreshed both and signed out/in on both multiple times.
0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,996 Posted September 28, 2022 Level 5 Posted September 28, 2022 The iOS app and the desktop app never sync to one another. Never ! All sync goes from any device to the EN server, and from there to the other clients. So the solution is quite obvious to look things up on the server (web client) to identify whether one device is not sending changes to the server, or if the server does not sync it to other devices. Problem is for Free users: Since the web client counts as a device, they can not use this debugging method. It will go over the device limit of 2 devices, and the unsyncs are limited as well. Here just observing how the client behaves can point at a problem. If on a subscription, you can use the web client to check if the syncing up to the server is the problem, or the syncing down to the „other“ devices. The cure then depends on the diagnosis.
