The search feature does not work when moving a note to a different folder

HELP!!!

The search feature does not work when I go to move a note.  I am on a MacBook with Monterey version 12.5. My Evernote version is 10.42.7-mac-ddl-public (3561)

The Folders do not even appear on the Mac version.  I tried uninstalling Evernote deleting all Evernote content from my Mac, and then reinstalling everything in the problem persists. I have looked at several threads and there are no other suggestions although it does seem like many people have this very same issue. I cannot get it to resolve and it is really annoying. I have to drag and drop everything into the proper folder.

Hi.  If you've been reading around the forums you'll be aware that we are (mainly) all users here,  and if you've been able to find any solutions,  you've probably already seen everything that's on offer.

If you've not already done so,  you could try rebuilding your local database - 

1. Evernote > Preferences; uncheck "Keep data when leaving“
2. Log out/ quit EN (File menu or Cmd-Q)
3. Uninstall from device
4. Restart device
5. Reinstall
6. Log back into Evernote and wait for the initial sync - which could take some time if you have a lot of notes...

If that doesn't work,  try Support.
