0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted March 18, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted March 18, 2022 Tags handling is different in teams - AFAIK tags have to be created by the admin before they can be used. Maybe this issue is related to this different way of managing tasks. If you are the admin of your Teams account, you can ask Teams support. If you are not the admin, ask the admin to ask support. Here in the forum are mainly users, and most of us do not have a teams subscription. Link to comment
0 Mark Dry 1
Evernote Teams request: Need a method for Admin to manage tags, currently you can only create a tag in a note, Admin can only delete or rename. Nesting tags would be very helpful also. This is already possible in a personal account so hopefully this would be an easy addition. Thanks Link to comment
0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,773 Posted June 20, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Not sure about how Teams does it - I only remember that tags needed to be in a notebook to be used by all users of this notebook. So it was a usual way to have one or more notes in a new notebook, only created to hold the tags necessary for this notebook. It works similar on shared notebooks, so probably this is still the same. Then the tag management by the admin would mainly be to define the tags that are then applied to the "tag carriers" when a notebook is created. But that may be wrong, given time is passing, and features are added. Did you contact EN Teams support about it yet ? They are the right place as well to discuss a feature request - we have no indication requests posted in the forum are moving devs to start coding. Link to comment
