"Content not supported" (Tasks)

Von Fuchsen

Idea

At least one of my notes is missing about half its content. In its place, if you go to the classic editor, is the following on each line that is missing content:

"Content not supported

This block is a placeholder for Tasks, which has been officially released on the newest version of Evernote and is no longer supported on this version. Deleting or moving this block may cause unexpected behavior in newer versions of Evernote."

Is there a way to retrieve the content, I really would appreciate having it back.

Hi there,

The placeholder message you're seeing is because the Tasks feature has been officially released on the newest versions of Evernote. (To update your app to access Tasks, see Update the Evernote app .)

Do not delete the placeholder message block, as it contains your task data. Updating your app will refresh the placeholder block to show your tasks. Also, if you are using the Web Client, you can switch from the Classic Editor and it should resolve the issue.

If you've already deleted the placeholder, check your note history to recover it.

Please keep in mind, a subscription is now required for some advanced features of tasks, such as accessing tasks from the central Tasks view, setting a due date, or adding task reminders.

If you'd like to continue using these features, you need to upgrade your account to an eligible subscription plan. To learn more, visit Tasks Overview
