Github Style Code Blocks

Please please please add support for Github style code blocks with language-specific syntax highlighting.

This would be a huge help to all programmers who use Evernote.

Here's an example of what I mean:

Output

I hope someone sees this! Thanks a lot!

If you want to bring it to the attention of EN, use the feedback function build into the clients.

Personally I don not think EN should specialize too deep. I use the COT Editor for Code, and embed the file into a note.

This style of code block formatting is really standard in the rest of the modern programmer's ecosystem.  It's not a big request, and would really civilize using Evernote for programmer's notes.

Github Evernote Style Code Blocks is the zero base option - needs no further attention, works for basic code saving purposes. It doesn’t support editing or reviewing code very well, that is not part of the feature today.

We will see how many votes the thread will collect. Up to now we don’t have a stampede of devs kicking in (2 votes so far).

Just being able to edit a note in text-only w/ markdown would give us a code block
