Taskbar icon keep disappearing after update

Hi there.
I like to report an issue I'm experiencing for years already.

I've made a quick shortcut on my taskbar in order to access Evernote quickly. Yet with any new update installation, the shortcut disappears and i have to create it again.
This reoccurring issue is quite disturbing and I'm considering turning off updates because of that.

Just putting this here in case anyone else comes with this issue.
I'm with Windows 11, Evernote 10.30.6 (3202).

I do not expect this to change. AFAIK due to the installation method EN is using, the shortcut target is removed with every installation. This was the same with the much hyped legacy client - but nobody noticed since there rarely ever was an update.

To contact EN about it, issue a support ticket.
