MERY4077 0
Hi, I'd like to join the group of international users who cannot get the solution for Evernote as Windows native app. It is VERY urgent issue, which seems to be unsolved for some time - no response from development team. 'Special' characters which exist in languages like Polish, but also numerous others, require using Alt+S, Alt+N key to get in text characters: "ś" or "ń" (lower case). After installing Evernote in Windows (native app) the system keyboard is overriden (man does't have to run application and they do override system keyboard!) and nowhere in the system these combinations are recognized as they should be in accordance with system keyboard settings. You cannot work with Excel, Word, PowerPoint to mention only several from tenths of applications. Solution: give users access to keys definitions. Please, don't propose any third-party solutions, as this is not a goal of users to have installed many different applications. It leads sooner or later to messing system. I'd point out this problem to be very important. How do we work with Evernote these deays? Web only. But this is not my preferred solution. Best, Maciej Link to comment

Are there existing Forum posts on this? It would make sense to add your voice there, or to contact Support direct rather post in isolation here. 14 hours ago, MERY4077 said: unsolved for some time - no response from development team. Has someone spoken to them? The devs don't typically respond to Forum comment - you do get personal responses to Support requests 14 hours ago, MERY4077 said: Please, don't propose any third-party solutions Not sure there can be any for this issue, other than to use the Web app as you already are. It is much closer to the installed clients in v10 than previously, but there are still differences. Link to comment
