Calion 26
As described in the attached post, it was once possible in Evernote for iOS to insert a new line by pressing control-enter on an external keyboard. However, no combination of keys that I can find will do that now. How do you insert a line break in an outline? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,188 Posted January 31, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted January 31, 2022 On iOS shift-Enter will still insert a line break. I tried on my Logitech external keyboard with my iPad. Inside of EN iOS it seems when in a header, this will not insert a line break. It will create a new paragraph, in standard text format. Works differently on desktop - there seems to be an inconsistency between clients. When still not sure, ask support. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,188 Posted February 5, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Correct, just tested it again. Maybe related to a hard keyboard - with the soft keyboard it creates a new bullet point even when shift is pressed. Link to comment
