foreign devices - beware hack

I closed my free evernote account today because I was alerted that I had 8 devices using my account - I get bumped if I have 3, but somehow Evernote allowed 8 - and when I looked at the history, there were MANY devices from various foreign countries accessing my account going back more than a month.

The origin of such a problem is usually the personal habit to reuse or only slightly modify the same password again and again - for different accounts. One is breached (not know from EN), and the hackers use automated processes to try a number of others.

This means it is up to you to make your account safe, by only using unique and strong passwords. Make sure other accounts are not compromised as well.
