After the update 10.27.5 I can't do anything anymore. (Neither create a new note, nor delete it, nor duplicate it, nor move it to another notebook). iMac El Capitan

El Captain is MacOS 10.11.

You need to be on MacOS 10.14 to run the new EN client. It may have worked, but there it no warranty by EN for the older MacOS versions.

You can’t install legacy because ? It won’t install, or you miss functions ?

The screenshot shows the symbol of the apps my iMac fails to install.

Anyway I uninstalled Evernote 10.27.5 and reinstalled, and now it magically works!
