Blank space with weird text

Everytime I try to add a marker, it shows up some weird char:

No, we can’t. Only other users here.

But we have some ideas about it.

Some reports said log out, quit the app, open it again, log in.

If this does not work, try this:

1. Go to File > Sign Out [name] from the menu bar.
2. Select the "Remove my Evernote data from this device" option, then click Sign out.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Sign back in to Evernote
