Level 5 PinkElephant 8,810 Posted November 11, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 11, 2021 Personally I don’t think it will work at all. The exponents are made by placing the number up from the base line of text. The EN editor, being quite basic, IMHO does not have this ability. You can ask support for help on this (subscribers only). As a workaround, you could write it like „number exp number“ (no, not nice), use the sketch feature to insert the mathematical expression as a handwritten drawing (no, not nice either). I found no simple solution for writing down mathematical symbols. Edit: I wrote nonsense, as @Mike P correctly pointed out. See my post below. Link to comment

On windows there is both a superscript and subscript button on the editing toolbar. I am surprised that it is different on Mac given the common approach now being adopted. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,810 Posted November 11, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 11, 2021 You are right, I had the EN window on a too narrow setting. When I enlarged it now, the buttons appeared. On mobile it is behind the Aa button. 1 Link to comment
