Chaplain Mark Knowlton 0
I am attempting to rotate a PDF, I went into Edit and Annotate, then clicked the three circles at the top. But Rotate Clockwise and Rotate Counterclockwise are both greyed out. Not sure what to do. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,170 Posted August 17, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted August 17, 2021 Same on my Mac, tried it with several pdfs, both one-paged and multi-paged. It even shows the options as symbols at the top left of the annotation window, but this disappears once the pdf is loaded. To me it looks as if the functions is provisioned, but not yet available. We had similar cases earlier in v10 when the GUI already showed options that were not functional at that moment. They got updated by a later release. To be sure, issue a support ticket. CoachJosh 0
I'm having the same issue six months later. Maybe it's the new update. I hope it gets fixed. Maybe I'll figure out how to issue a support tkt and do that. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,170 Posted March 2, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted March 2, 2022 It is very simple: Just click on the pdf, so it gets a blue outline around it. Now choose open. It will open in the MacOS Preview App, where you can perform all sort of action, including rotation. On closing (cmd-W) the Preview window, the changes will save back into the note. If you have chosen another app as standard pdf viewer, it will open in that app. Then it depends on the abilities of that app to manipulate a pdf file. If not happy, switch it in MacOS (standard app) to Preview, which really is doing a superb job for pdf annotation. Link to comment
