can't type into scratchpad - touchscreen not registering (but registers in other apps)

Hello,

On my IPhone X iOS 14.7.1 I cannot type in the scratchpad. I can place the cursor, the spacebar works, backspace works, but when I type letters, return, emojis, capitalization, or numbers, they do not appear. I've restarted, logged out, made sure the phone was updated to no avail.

I have no problems with my keyboard in other apps, or within Notes. What can I do?

No idea, works on my iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall the scratchpad yet, if you can ? Else try support, if possible.
