I am a programmer and have always used evernote to copy parts of my code into my library. And I was basically comfortable working with evernote. I found the code I needed on the Internet and copied it to a website where I could format it for free. Then I copied the formatted code into evernote and evernote pasted it as is with syntax highlighting. After the update, this feature disappeared because now evernote inserts the piece as code and all in one color without syntax highlighting. This was very important to me, so I had to give up using evernote
