non-existent notes

I just thought to return to this application, and then a surprise.
Do you guys want money for this?
Where did I get my blank notebooks ???

Hi.  If you just updated,  give it time to reload the new database structure.  Log out and back in / restart your system - some basic teching will get your notes back.  Which are still available if you sign into Evernote.com.

Today I installed the application on this laptop for the first time. I have no notes at all. There is only 1 notebook and that's it. Where did the two nameless notebooks come from, it is not clear

I went out and logged in several times to the application.
Restarting. I made a second notebook and I can't delete it

 

It looks like this app can no longer be trusted like it used to be five years ago

If that notebook is the default notebook,  you're not allowed to delete it...  Delete a notebook

The default notebook is number [-1-], which does not even have a delete button, and if there is no button, then where can a notification about an unsuccessful delete attempt appear from?

I rebooted my laptop, and the errors persisted. Forget this app is no longer worth your attention
