Created a notebook, accidentally hit "leave notebook", cant find anywhere

Hello,

I am requesting a bit of assistance. I accidentally hit "leave notebook" on a notebook that I created. It wasnt shared to me or anything and now I cant find it to restore. It is not in the trash or anything. Where would this have gone? It is perplexing that "leave notebook" was even an option as this was a notebook that i created. Any advice? Thank you

A notebook is not really an entity in EN. It lives by being used, this means by putting notes into it.

An empty notebook can disappear. The trash is only for notes, not notebooks. When you delete a notebook with notes, the notes go to the trash, and the notebook disappears. This is because a note can never be outside of a notebook, so the trash is the „notebook“ of last resort.

The notebook by itself is just an empty shell.

Thank you for the reply. Would you be able to help me as the notes are missing as well? They didnt go into the trash either. I had some really important notes in there and am at my wits end where they couldve gone if not to the trash.

If I got it right, the content you miss is not in the trash, and was not moved by accident to another notebook.
